The Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HOS), Barrister Danladi Kifasi, has been relieved of his duty, Vanguard reports.
Report said his sack stems from an effort to ensure Federal Character Principle as required by the Nigeria’s Constitution.
It was gathered that the Federal Government may soon announce a new Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HOS).
Kifasi is said to have prepared for smooth handover ahead of the announcement of new HOS who may likely come from the Southern part of Nigeria.
The outgoing HOS, who has had served as Permanent Secretary in several ministries including Federal Ministry of Finance and Petroleum, is from Taraba state - North-East zone.
